Backup in place

I just pulled the first full backup of the CPC-Wiki through FTP. Together with the database dump done via the excellent MySQLDumper application a complete second off-site backup of the CPC-Wiki exists now. Only thing left is to automate the process completely.

Btw.: If you ever wonder how to backup a large MySQL database on webspace without shell access, try out MySQLDumper. It’s free and easy to use.

    Great job on that… :) Indeed, let’s see how to automate it so that we get weekly, maybe, backups? Let me know if I can help with it, I’m (almost) back…
